mariahchanning: I love this miniature viewfinder camera. Rollei was German made and then the manufacturing was switched to Singapore. This camera was produced in 1971. Though the Rollei’s earlier version came with a Zeiss Tessar 40mm f/3.5, mine being a later version has the Sonnar 40mm f/2.8. The Rollei 35S is battery powered, using a CdS photo resistor. This is a very fine camera and a lucky find for the price I adopted it for. I carry this little Rollei everywhere I go.
